Viento Del Mar is a boutique guesthouse and restaurant perfectly located on the beach front, between Cloud 9 & General Luna. Feel the refreshing sea breeze as you dine in our intimate tropical gardens, or relax with a glass of Sangria on the spacious balcony. Check the waves from our roof-top lounge with 180° sea views.
At Kokai Resort we offer three different kinds of accommodation to suite all kind of budget, from the duplex bungalows with their own private toilet and mezzanine to the backpackers room with shared bathroom and shower all of them with a native touch and comfortable beds.
We do have 4 bungalows, each one have an Air Con and Fan system, is own terrace and is facing the garden.
Rooms are cleaned daily or upon request.
Laundry service is available at the Resort upon demand w extra charges.

For everyone’s convenience bring cash before you arrival on the island, as the closest local ATM are based in Dapa town (20km ride from GL). Although it’s sometimes possible to withdraw money here in General Luna with extra fees. The local money is the Philippine Pesos (PHP).

Sagana resort consists of 6 individual cottages with self-contained bathrooms and caters for a maximum of 20 guests. 4 cottages are fan cooled and 2 have air conditioning.
The individual cottages all vary in size and are set in lush, tropical gardens. Bed linen, towels and mosquito nets are provided and cottages are cleaned daily. Each cottage has it's own large verandah to relax and hammock supplied.
We have a back up generator in case of brown outs which are an occasional occurrence on the island.
Sagana resort also has a swimming pool on site available to our in house guests only. There is a shallow children's pool attached to the main salt water pool.
Cottage 1 Cottage 1 has views of Cloud 9 surf break and accommodates 2 to 3 people in double beds with overhead ceiling fans. The bathroom has a shower with hot and cold running water, hand basin and a flush toilet. The roomy verandah has a hammock for lounging in.

Cottage 2 Cottage 2 is a 2 storey cottage which can accommodate up to 3 people. There is a king size bed that can convert to twin beds plus a lounge that can convert to an additional single bed if necessary. The room has an overhead ceiling fan and a balcony with views of Cloud 9 and large hammock. Downstairs has a shower with hot and cold running water, hand basin and compost toilet. There is an undercover open outdoor area for lounging.

Cottage 3 Cottage 3 is our largest cottage directly facing the Cloud 9 surf break. This cottage accommodates 4 people in either 2 king size beds which can convert to twin beds. The rooms have air conditioning, overhead ceiling fans, and a spacious bathroom with shower with hot and cold running water, hand basin and flush toilet. The verandah has a hammock for lounging in whilst checking out the surf or lazing in reading a book or having an afternoon siesta.

Cottage 4 Cottage 4 has been built to cater for a family of 4. The front room is air conditioned with a king size bed, which can also convert to twin beds. There is a separate room which has 2 bunk beds for the kids. The bathroom has a shower with hot and cold running water, hand basin and flush toilet.

If there are small waves, Go Island hopping just for fun! Try island hopping on 3 islands within one trip. Like Daku, Guyam and Naked island. On these 3 islands there is plenty to see (fish, coral, sea snakes, shells, seaweeds but no big sharks) snorkeling on the reef around Guyam and Daku you can drift with the current along the drop-off.
The very best beach for swimming at any tide is Daku Island. If you want to sun bathe even naked at naked island there is no body there, just the boat man. This island is white and covered with coral all around. Guyam is the perfect palm fringed islet.
Not to be missed is a full day trip to Sohoton lagoon. We can organize a cold box with ice, soft drinks and beer, plus a good solid lunch for the day out. Sohoton Cove is a fantastic place, overhung by jungle cliffs, where you can swim into the cove with bats, strange fish, stalactites, jelly fish, wild orchids and weird corals.
Go when the tide is low, the only entrance to the lagoons is through a natural cave tunnel hanging with stalactites. But if you want a more fun and enjoyable trip, Mam-on and Suyangan islands, swim in crystal clear water, coral reefs and powdered white sand.
For the land tour, just past Pilar is Magpupungko and its natural swimming hole, scoured clean by every tide,. You could go to Pacifico and Burgos then Alegria, down to Tak-tak falls, for great beaches and breaking surf.
Tak-tak falls has continual running water from the mountain and is good for swimming due to the cold water and you can also jump from the top of the mountain if you want.
On the west cost of Siargao is Del Carmen fringed with a mangrove forest. Close to Del Carmen is Kaob with its own secret lagoon, pristine corals and beaches.

Deluxe Room
Our Standard room fits two to three people comfortably. It comes with optional air-con or electric fan. Separate toilet and shower rooms. We have water heated showers with excellent water pressure. Each room has a veranda area for relaxing. All rooms have a room safe to store your valuables and board racks for your surf boards!

Family Room
Our Family Hut fits five to seven people comfortably. It was designed with a small family in mind. Like traditional Filipino homes, the Family hut has a receiving veranda for guests and friends to relax in while not being in the room. In addition to this space, there is a mezzanine / loft floor where two people can stay. The loft floor also has access to an al-fresco veranda which can double as a work area or another space guests can relax in.
The Family Hut comes with optional air-con or electric fan cooling. It has separate toilet and shower rooms. The Family Hut has a luxurious heated shower with excellent water pressure and a rainwater head. The room has a safe to store your valuables and board rack for your surf boards as well.

Community Hut
The community hut was designed for large groups of friends, barkadas and colleagues in mind. It’s a large room that fits up to twelve people comfortably. The beds are arranged in a bunk bed style where each bed has it’s own socket and reading lamp.
The room is equipped with two sinks, two bathrooms and two toilets so the guests can utilize each comfortably.
You can opt to rent out a bed space in this room if it isn’t booked out to a large group exclusively.
